How the Calculator Works
Designed for UAE 220V single-phase residential installations. Follows DEWA regulations and UAE electrical code.

2. Calculate Load
Total watts = sum of (appliance watts × quantity). Current draw (amps) = total watts ÷ 220V. We apply a 25% safety factor for breaker sizing.
3. Get Breaker Size
We round up to the next standard DEWA breaker size (6A, 10A, 16A, 20A, 25A, 32A, 40A, 50A, 63A) — and estimate your monthly DEWA bill from usage hours.
